Series 28 Automatic Feed Drill Unit & Motors

Dumore Series 28 automatic feed drills and tappers, also referred to as self feed drills and tapping units, are capable of both drilling and tapping.

Drilling & Tapping Applications
Choose the reversing drill & tapping motor, capable of up to 16 reversals per minute for production drilling and tapping.

Drilling Only Applications
Select the non-reversing drill motor, either single phase or 3-phase option.

Series 28 automatic feed drills and tappers accept multiple spindle drill heads and have a drilling capacity of 3/8" diameter (mild steel) and tapping capacity of 1/2" diameter (mild steel). They are capable of drilling and tapping class 2 threads ranging from 4-40 to 1/2-13 threads per inch.

There are no mechanical parts – gears, clutches or lead screws – required, eliminating the major cause of problems in ordinary tapping machines, and like all Dumore automatic feed drills, have a low air consumption requirement of 5 scfm or less.
